A new way of producing bio ethanol has been discovered. This new method is said to be much cheaper and effective than the previous one. If this process will be successful, the consumption of bio fuel will be increased.

When you are going to make spirit out of straw you have to start with softening the straw in hot water, afterwards oxygen is added, so that the pressure can be reduced. When all these things have been done, the enzymes can start working in the sugar substance. After two days in a heating cupboard, it has converted into simple molecules. Now the substance has to ferment. In order to use all the different kinds of sugars, you have to add a special type of yeast. The remainings will be straw left over, metals, lactic acids and bio ethanol. The quantity of the bio ethanol is 4, 5%. The bio ethanol can now be used as fuel.

1 ton straw = 300 liters of sprit
